Program Analyst
SUMMARY:

The Program Analyst works with program staff to coordinate and design reports specific for designated projects and grant funding agencies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide data management and run reports for all program records. Ensure integrity and accuracy of HMIS database inputs by staff.
  • Evaluate records-management systems to develop new or improve existing methods for efficient handling, accuracy and consistency that can pass rigorous auditing standards.
  • Perform statistical and regression analysis to examine demographics and causal relationships of records.
  • Evaluate standards and quality of programs.
  • Serve as a liaison between Union Station and the City of Pasadena, LAHSA, and other funders in providing outcomes information.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly presentations that demonstrate program outcomes and forecasts.
  • Provide administrative and technical support to Program Staff.
  • Organize and coordinate personal and professional enrichment training programs for program staff. Provide MS Office and computer software training.
  • Provide support to the Director of Programs with program development and other assignments as directed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience working with relational database systems. Ability to manage database programs and generate a variety of specialized reports.
  • Skilled in use of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with other employees, clients, volunteers and members of the public.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in related field required.
  • Ability to maintain high degree of accuracy with statistics and banking procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving & solution oriented capabilities.
  • Experience in a social service setting desirable.
  • Experience in research setting desirable.
