Photo by Rob Greer Photography Celebration for Union Station Renowned clarinetist Gary Bovyer and the Occidental-Caltech Symphony, under the direction of Allen Robert Gross, performed Celebration for Union Station, a classical concert benefiting Union Station Homeless Services. Held at All Saints Church on April 5, the event raised more than $40,000 for Union Station's programs for homeless adults and families. In addition to purchasing tickets, many donors chose to underwrite tickets for Union Station clients to attend the concert. ABOUT THE ARTISTS Gary Bovyer is principal clarinetist of the Long Beach Symphony, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and the Santa Monica Symphony, and has performed as a soloist with local and international orchestras. His playing has been featured on numerous motion picture soundtracks and albums, including by composers John Debney, Danny Elfman, James Horner and David Newman. Mr. Bovyer resides in Sierra Madre with his family.
