UNION STATION HOMELESS SERVICES In 1973, a group of community volunteers opened Union Station as a simple hospitality center to serve poor and homeless men in downtown Pasadena. Today, Union Station is the San Gabriel Valley's largest and most comprehensive social service agency assisting homeless and very low-income people. Our mission is to help, men, women and children rebuild their lives and end homelessness. Union Station operates five programs to help homeless adults and families achieve self-sufficiency: Passageways Intake Center Adult Center Family Center Euclid Villa Transitional Housing Apartments Sources Career Development Program Union Station's services include: Intake and assesment Emergency shelter Transitional housing Case management Community Meals Program Community Showers Program Career development and job placement Medical and mental health services Substance abuse recovery support Domestic violence counseling and support Legal assistance Adult classes in parenting, money management, nutrition and life skills Specialized services for clients with mental illnesses Specialized services for women and families Children's educational and recreational activities Housing placement
